This is the hidden gem of the Hill! We stopped it on Saturday afternoon for a quick lunch. We are greeted by two friendly members of the joint, who quickly gave us menus and helped us order. We had our food in less than 5 minutes brought to our table. Eovaldi's Special was awesome. The combination of meats and veggies is perfect. The bread was super fresh. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I have had their sausage and meatball sandwiches as well which are excellent choices. We also got a side salad and their soup of the day: chicken and dumplings. Amazing. The dressing on the salad is their homemade vinegar dressing which was also great. 4-5 tables to sit at on the inside. Clean and cozy shop. Be sure to check out the frozen section where they have plenty of pizzas and sausages to purchase.

My first time here. I ordered the special sandwich and it was really good. I think next time when I order it, I will order it heated up though. The owners, Mike and Denny were super nice and very helpful. Happy to tell us all about their place. They were featured on the Food Network a few years back. So we had to go home and look it up so we can watch it. It was a really nice segment on their place. It's basically just a deli inside. There are four tables if you want to eat your sandwich while you were there. We were lucky enough not to have to wait in any lines as it was really cold that day and I don't think nobody wanted to get out. They do have a freezer section with frozen pizzas and other goodies like tortellini that you can grab to take home. This place is small, but mighty, mighty good!

I love muffuletta sandwiches and someone recommended Eovaldi's. I was not disappointed! The staff was friendly and fast and the sandwich was great. I just got a half (it is made on an 8" bun)!. The bread was soft and chewy and the olive spread had wonderful flavor. The ham and Genova salami were tasty and tender. The pepper cheese added the perfect kick. I'll definitely be back to try the other menu items too. I got mine to go, but the dining area had plenty of seating.

The food came out fast with very generous portion sizes for the price. The service was good and they were all very friendly . Had an old deli atmosphere with side on the wall but other items to Purchase. Definitely would go again

This place never misses (on) delivering the best tasting deli sandwiches. Family owned and These brothers/m that run it - they are commuter to excellence. The Sicilian Bomber is killer. The Chicago...another killer sandwich. And better go with the big sandwich option...as you'll be wanting more (if you get a small sandwich). Trust me; it's fantastic!!!

Eovaldi's is hands down the best place to go for the most solid sandwiches! It's a family-run operation and it just feels like you're served a sandwich made with love. The service is spectacular, food is made to order and comes out quickly, prices are very fair, menu's got it all without being too overwhelming, you can customize if needed, and it's just good time all around. It's pretty easy to find street parking in the neighborhood, too. You get to choose the size of the sandwich -- 4.5", 6", 9", 12". There are both hot and cold options for the sandwiches, and there are actually a handful of other items on the menu like soup, salad, pizza, and pastas. You can even buy canned, cold, and frozen goods and merch to take home. They also do catering, and I'm lowkey always waiting for an excuse to order an egregious amount of sandwiches from them. I've tried the meatball sub and it's a straightforward good time. My absolute favorite, however, is their Eovaldi's special (hold the pickles and the banana peppers). It's got the perfect proportion of meats to veggies and appropriate amount of mayo. I'm always a little meh when delis slather their sandwiches in mayo or when they layer on the meats real thick and it gets too salty; this is definitely not the case here. It's genuinely so good that I'll come back for it on a daily basis. Eovaldi's is the gem of The Hill and I hope they continue to stay open making their Special forever.

Solid deli on the hill, great staff and good vibe. I grabbed a chicken parm sandwich and it was pretty good. I purchased some Italian sausage and a chub, I'm excited to cook them up.

This is a small little spot that serves great cold sandwiches and a little bit of Italian and local business Italian eats. I had the "extra special" and man was it good. The staff was very attentive and the cashier was very sweet. We loved it and will add it to our sandwich rotation when we go to the hill

This is right in the Hill neighborhood... so quaint little place! It's an order at the counter place. We had the Sicilian Bomber which was delicious! We split a 6 inch and a 6 inch salsiccia that comes with red sauce. The Sicilian bomber comes with beef, pepper cheese, bomber gravy with mushrooms, onions and peppers, topped with cold Genova salami. Holy cow. My 18 year old said it was the best sandwich of his life. And the service...so kind. They were helpful, friendly and patient! Can't ask for more than that! They also had frozen manicotti, canelloni, tortillini, ravioli and pizza you could take to go. We took frozen canelloni home to make for another time. We will definitely be back! May also use them for catering!
